Now in order to 'hot it up a bit' we're going to introduce a new Sensational award for the best contributor to the Watford Blog site during 2009/10 season. This award will be presented at the Annual Presentation Evening along with all the other trophies....
Ian Banfield thinks he's won already.... are you going to let him get away with that prediction or is there someone out there willing to pick up the cudgels ??
Now of course my good self (Chris Ogle) is not eligible for this esteemed award, nor Geof Bax or Stuart Seaholme... but everyone else is!
The award will be decided by your committee... innovative reports, use of different media such as Pictures and Video will heavily influence the eventual decision.... so if your not on the cards to win a Table Tennis trophy (or even if you are) but fancy another award to add to your collection then get sending us stuff as soon as... the season is now almost half way through already !!
... by the way the award will not just be a piece of paper but something tangible and useful.... donated by a generous benefactor who wishes to remain anonymous at this time!!

As the ex editor of a local BT trade union magazine and therefore a person who can recognise a fine piece of work, i felt compelled to congratulate Chris on the splendid piece he penned to introduce the new award.
What a great, original and fun idea this award is! Where did the idea come from i wonder!
Its not too difficult to write a match report so have a go, and try and best the best.
