We want to publish your Table Tennis stories! Whether you are one of the better players, someone from the lower divisions, a social only Table Tennis player or a complete Novice let us have your stories, pictures and yes, Video's too!!
The Watford Table Tennis Blog allows us all to participate and find out about what is happening in Table Tennis in our area. If it is to do with Table Tennis, going on in Watford, then you'll find it here on the Watford Table Tennis Blog site!
How can you join in?
Here are a few examples of how you can get your Table Tennis News on the Watford Table Tennis Blog Site :-
- Match Reports. Provide us with the Date of the Match, the Teams involved and the Division. Then let us know the significance of the match, clash at the top, relegation battle, or maybe it is a cup game. Tell us the end result and any titanic games within the match. Give us your man (women) of the match recommendation and if you have any pictures or video then get this to us as well. just email to otis.ogle@ipsx.co.uk
- News and Announcements. Let us know of any details that could be useful to Table Tennis enthusiasts in Watford. This could be about the AGM, or an exhibition match. Developments in Table Tennis within schools or Team selection for the 'Watford Team' in a national event. It might even be that one of our own umpired at the World Table Tennis championships. - Sending Pictures. Please send us pictures with details of what the picture is all about. We will get it posted with your short description straight up onto the Blog. When sending pictures please ensure they are .jpg format and reduce them to no more than 200k bytes per picture. Email to otis.ogle@ipsx.co.uk
- Sending Videos. Video files tend to be quite large. The best way to email us a video if the file is under 100mb is to use the free webservice http://www.mailbigfile.com. Just upload the Video there, then email to otis.ogle@ipsx.co.uk and we'll get the Video sorted for you. Make sure you tell us who is in the video and any important points about what is going on. If it is a match then include the Teams playing, the division, the end result, the game(s) on the video and the players names who are playing.
If you have a YouTube account already then you can host the video within YouTube and then just send us the embed code and we will use that to link to the Video without us needing to manage large video files. Don't forget to forward all the important match information as well though! or details of what is going on in the Video!
