How did I start playing Table Tennis?
I first started with coaching classes at the then brand new Harrow Leisure Centre when I was eight years old. I went there for years and joined Kenton in the Wembley & Harrow League when I was fourteen.
Style of Play
My playing style is not from the textbook. It's about 90% backhand, from close to the table, and I love blocking and angles.
Blade : Tibhar VSG21-4000-FL
Rubbers : Any old rubbish on the forehand; a nice thin sticky rubber on the backhand.
Official Positions held and Assignments
Secretary of Kenton TTC and Press Officer for the Wembley & Harrow League. ETTA Press Officer of the Year for 2007.
Playing Track Record
Two representative appearances for the Watford League in the Wilmott Cup. Played for England in the 2007 European Maccabi Games in Rome. Watford Handicap Singles Champion 2008 and 2009. Have played in the Watford, W&H, Chalfonts, London Business Houses, Norwich, Nottingham and Liverpool leagues (with very few trophies to show for it all). Have played tournaments abroad in Madrid, Melbourne and Swansea.
Most Memorable Moments
Jets B 6, Fullerians 4 at Chiswell School in the late 1990s. They won the league every year then and I won 4/4 that night.
